“Hi Rob, Just wanted to drop you and Hodgy a quick email to let you both know what a great time my husband had at “The Inferno at The Falls”. My husband’s name is Brian, I believe he said you called him the motorcycle guy! Anyway he got home about 11:30 last Wed. and he talked nonstop until I finally had to ask him to stop around 1am since I am still a working girl and had to get up early. By time I got home on Thursday, it was the same thing: listen to this, look at this picture or website, let’s try this or do this. He is so pumped up about taking the next step to make our business even more successful. He made a ton of great contacts and came home with so much information that we are still trying to sift through it. One the best things though was the print competition. Brian always questions whether or not his work is good – even though everyone tells him it is great! Then he placed third out of 100 prints and being voted by his peers… that did more for his confidence level than words can explain. I just wanted to say Thanks so much for helping Brian see his own potential. We are looking forward to meeting you guys again – maybe next time I can come!”

As one of the long-time members of Nobs Photo Success, I am happy to add my continuing praises of this forum and their conventions. Times are changing, we need to acknowledge it and adapt. ‘Facebook’ photographers are growing by the hoards and it’s putting a large dent in the integrity of our profession. If you want to place yourself a level above the crowd, you’ll find the secrets at NoBS. This forum has been around for years! They are here to nurture your talents, give you solid business advice, and show you how to stand out.
We consider Rob and Hodgy some of our best friends now, when 8 years ago we had never even heard of Canada.
These guys are the real deal. This forum is the real deal. the Inferno is the real deal. NoBS is the real deal.
I went to the 2011 Inferno really knowing nothing about NOBS – I just saw it as a 3-day conference in my city that wasn’t too expensive, so I went. I was so thoroughly blown away by the amount of information I learned. Every speaker taught me something new. The participants (many of them seasoned, successful professionals) were all incredibly forthcoming in offering suggestions and advice. I learned an equal amount of photography and business advice, and came home and completely revamped how we do business – and it’s made a big difference to both the quality of photography we produce and the amount of money we take home!
Interestingly, one of the best things about the Inferno is that you don’t choose which lectures to attend – there’s just one lineup. This means that the best lectures don’t fill up, you discover interesting people you’ve never heard of, and you learn things you didn’t know you needed to learn. I wasn’t expecting the required-participation, choreographed dance routines every morning, though…
my brain is on overload from inferno…..so much information…loved it all. Met lots of great people and saw some I knew from Knoxville that I didn’t know were going! I can’t wait to put all the info to use…so excited! Thank you so much Rob and Kerry for putting all this together. The speakers were great! Can’t wait for the next one in Nashville!

I attended the 2011 Inferno in Nashville and I am very glad that I did. In a word: awesome. All of the presenters were amazing! It was definitely packed with tons of valuable information (marketing, posing, lighting, post-processing, etc.). I can’t wait to go again this year. I highly recommend Inferno!
